What are the Requirements for Borno State Scholarship 2024

The prerequisites to be eligible for the Borno State scholarship are given below read carefully before you apply.

• Applicants must be an indigene
• Candidates should be an undergraduate and are currently in any recognized institution either a college of education, polytechnic, or university across Nigeria
• Must be a resident of Borno state and be enrolled in any higher institution abroad
• Should have a minimum of 3.0 CGPA score
• Should present his/her First school leaving certificate (FLC)
• A valid certificate of origin
• Statement of result that contains CCGPA is for School of Nursing Students, College, Polytechnic, and University students. 

How to Apply

All candidates who meet the requirements for the Borno State scholarship should follow the steps below for your successful applications.

• Applicants should visit the official Borno State government scholarship portal via www.bornostate.gov.ng
• Login to create an account using your valid email address
• A confirmative message will be sent to your email inbox
• Click on the email button and you will be redirected back to the login page.
• Log in again with your email address and password where you will be granted access to the application form.
• The application is in stages. Complete each stage with the appropriate information required. Click save and next to complete the preceding stage.
• In the first stage, you will be required to upload a passport photograph and save it, ensure to fill in all the required columns, and click on next after saving, you will also be required to provide your academic details.
• Secondly, you will be required to provide details of academic institutions attended and qualifications got, save and click Next.
• Third, provide your SSCE result details, save, and click Next.
• Next, you will be redirected to the document upload page where you are to upload scanned copies of your admission letter, indigene certificate, and SSCE results.
• Review your application and click submit when completed. You can then download a copy of your application for record-keeping purposes.
• Please ensure to provide accurate information as your application will undergo a review process.
• You are required to submit a copy of your application form alongside photocopies of each of the following (SSCE Results, Admission Letter, and Indigene Certificate) at the

Scholarship board in your school.

Note that all applications will undergo a compulsory screening, both physical screening and otherwise. If you made it successful, your scholarship allowance will commence immediately.
