Eligibility and Qualifications for Recruitment into Ekiti State University

Depending on the position you are applying for, there are certain requirements you must have:

For Director of Health Services:

You must have a degree in Medicine from an approved Nigerian University.
You must also be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
You must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Deputy Director or five (5) years as Deputy Chief Medical Officer in a public university.
It is necessary that you have a Master’s Degree in Public/Community Health.

For Director of Audit.

You must have an Honor’s Degree (not less than 2^nd class lower division) in Accounting or any related discipline.
You should have a minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of experience working in a tertiary institution or with CONTISS or as a Deputy Director of Audit in a public university.
You must be a registered member of any of the following professional bodies – ACMA, ACA, ACCA, ANAN, ICAN, and CA.
You have to be familiar with the use of the Computer.
Having a higher degree (like a Master’s) in a related field will be an added advantage.

For Director of Physical Planning

You should have a second-class (upper division) or first-class degree in any of the following – Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Building Technology, or Architecture.
You should have at least 15 years of working experience in a tertiary institution or as a Deputy Director of Physical Planning in a public university or both.
You should be a registered member of any of the following professional bodies – NIESV, TOPREC, NITP, NIQS, NIA, ARCON, CORBON, NIOB, and COREN.
Having a higher degree (like a Master’s) in a related field will be an added advantage.

For Director of Works and Services

Aspirants should have a second-class (upper division) or first-class degree in any of the following – Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
Aspirants must have at least fifteen (15) years’ of work experience in a tertiary institution or five (5) years on CONTISS or two (2) years as Deputy Director of Works in a public university.
Aspirants should be registered with any of the following professional bodies – CORBON, NIOB, or COREN.
Having a higher degree (like a Master’s) in a related field will be an added advantage.

For the Director of Procurement

Applicants should have a second-class (upper division) or first-class degree in any of the following – Mathematics, Statistics, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing and Supply, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
You should have a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ work experience in a tertiary institution, with CONTISS or as a Deputy Director of Procurement in a Public University.
You have to be registered with the Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Having a higher degree (like a Master’s) in a related field will be an added advantage.

For Bursar

You should have a second-class (upper division) or first-class degree in any of the following – Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or any related discipline.
You should also have a membership with any of the following professional bodies – ANAN, ACMA, CA, ICAN, ACCA, or ACA.
You should have at least fifteen (15) years’ experience working in a university or as a Deputy Bursar in a public university.
You should not be above sixty (60) years at the time of application.
Having a higher degree in a related field or knowledge of the use of computers will be an added advantage.

The salary range for staff at Ekiti State University is from N19,500 to N214,000 depending on your rank, office, and/or qualifications.
