Eligibility Criteria for Dennis Osadebe University Post UTME/DE Screening

  • Must sit for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or apply for Direct Entry (DE) through JAMB.
  • Should have at least a Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) or score from 170 in JAMB UTME.
  • Must select Dennis Osadebe University as their First Choice institution during JAMB registration or DE application.
  • Must pass their O’level examination to at least 5 credits including, mathematics and English Language.

  • Applicants with a 170 score in JAMB UTME can apply for a Degree Programme in Science, Social Sciences, Arts, and Education.
  • A candidate with a UTME score of less than 200 has the option to apply for a change of course. Courses that require a minimum UTME score of 200 for admission include B.Sc programs in Statistics, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Mathematics, as well as B.Sc (Ed) programs in Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, and Geography. 
  • Candidates who achieve a UTME score of 200 or higher in law, Medicine, and Pharmacy are eligible for admission to those programs without the need for a change. However, for scores below 200, candidates can explore alternative program options.
  • In addition to UTME scores, other eligibility criteria for admission include NCE, Advanced Level qualifications, GCE, IJMB, and Diploma qualifications for Direct Entry.

  • Visit the DOU website at www.dou.edu.ng
  • Click on “Menu”, to select “Undergraduate” so you can apply.
  • Fill out the Post UTME form and provide all the required details needed from the school.
