We are pleased to announce to the general public that the shortlisted candidates for Police recruitment are out and the portal is active for aspiring candidates who submit their applications to log in and check if their name has come out in the list.

To remind you of the facts, The Nigerian Police Force recruitment doesn’t require much qualifications and experience at least candidates with SSCE (Secondary School Certificate Examination) can give the job, so you don’t have to start worrying about anything.

Is Shortlisted Candidates for Police Recruitment 2024/2025 Out?

Yes, the management for Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has announced that the shortlisted candidates for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise are out and is online on the official Nigerian Police recruitment website.

All applicants are advised to proceed to the portal to check their names and download the pdf format of the file from the portal. Most importantly, the shortlisted candidates for the Police recruitment portal are free of charge and the shortlisted candidates list is accessible online on the official  NPF recruitment portal www.npf.gov.ng.

Requirements for NPF Recruitment 

All candidates who have found their names on the shortlisted candidate’s list are to not the requirements and make sure they have met them to be not disqualified during the screening time.

• The applicant must be born in Nigeria.
• Applicants must not be lesser than eighteen (18) years of age or older than twenty-five (25) years.
• Applicants must possess a WAEC or NECO certificate.
• He/she should have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in his/her O’Level result including English Language and General Mathematics.
• Due to the intensity of the job, the individual must be physically and mentally healthy.
• Applicants should be competent and fluent in written and oral English.
• Applicants must be ready for any task, focused, and hardworking.
• The individual must have a testimonial of good character.
• There should be no record that the individual has ever been convicted of a crime.
• Applicants must have a form of identification. This could be a valid National Identification Number, a valid Voter’s card, a Driver’s license, National Identification Card, or an international passport.
• Applicants must be able to display professionalism in the workplace and designated place of assignment.
• The applicant must demonstrate leadership abilities.
• Applicants are expected to bring recent passport photograph(s).
• Applicants must have an active and accessible email address and a valid phone number
• Male applicants must be measured 1.67m and 1.64m for females

How to Check Police Shortlisted Candidates 

To successfully access the shortlisted candidate’s list for Police recruitment in 2024/2025 follow the guidelines given below in this section.

• Make sure before starting this process that your PC or Smartphone is connected to a strong internet.
• Open either your Firefox, Google Chrome, UC Web Explorer, etc
• On the address bar, type in the official Police shortlisted candidates portal via www.npf.gov.ng
• Scroll down to the applicant’s list 
• Click on the “View Shortlisted Candidates” option on scrolling down the page 
• A List of successful candidates will be launched, carefully scan through it to trace your name

Alternatively, you can use the “search name option” to cut the stress

From point number 6 above, 

• Type in your full name in the search box 
• Click on the Search Button
• This option will navigate you to a window displaying your exact name. Candidates who could not find their names in this option should know that their names were not shortlisted

Note:

Candidates whose qualifications did not match with the job position chosen or in any way found faulty might not be included in the list.

Physical screening, medical checkups, and training will be carried out by the officials for the successful candidates. Candidates who pass the test will automatically be employed. Stay connected to your email and this page to be notified when the successfully shortlisted candidates will be called.
