Federal Government Scholarship Requirements
- The following are the eligibility criteria for the Federal Government Scholarship:
- Prospective candidates must be students studying education in any Nigerian colleges of education, universities, or polytechnics.
- Such candidates must be full-time students at that institution.
- Interested candidates for the undergraduate scholarship must possess a minimum of 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five-point scale or its equivalents, or 5.0 on a seven-point scale.
- Candidates with NCE or HND must possess a CGPA of 4.5 and above on a scale of 4.0.
- All candidates, including physically challenged students, must be in their first year and above.
- Candidates in any scholarship program are not eligible to apply.

- Click on the Federal Scholarship Board button.
- Are you advised to read carefully the application instructions and guidelines?
- After that, carefully fill out the online application form.
- Upload all required documents.

Federal Government Shortlisted candidates
- Note that only students who are studying education can apply for bursary scholarships. Most importantly, a corp member cannot apply for this scholarship to further their academic career, like a master’s degree.
- To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have completed your NYSC program.
- Only those who meet the requirements and qualifications are allowed to apply.
- It is only after the submission of your application that you will be shortlisted for the screening examination.
- After the examination, those who excel will be shortlisted again for the final level.
- The verification process will follow immediately.
- Once verification is completed, the scholarship will be sent to you. Note that without proper verification, you won’t be receiving any money.
