About McDonald’s HACER Scholarship
The great thing about this scholarship program is that the applicants do not need to be fully Hispanic. If at least one of their parents is of Hispanic heritage, then such students will be qualified. This scholarship program offers up to thirty (30) exceptional Hispanic students from across the globe financial assistance. The scholarship fund is given to the lucky recipient to aid him/her finance his/her college tuition.
The scholarship is divided into three (3) tiers. Each student must fall into a particular tier and will be rewarded a particular amount of money depending on the tier they fall under:
- Tier 1 – $ 100,000
- Tier 2 – $ 10,000 – $ 20,000
- Tier 3 – $ 5,000
Over $33 million has been given to Hispanic students all over the country as scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for the McDonald’s HACER Scholarship
The following are the eligibility criteria for the McDonald’s HACER Scholarship:
- Must be a high school senior
- Must be a legal U.S. resident.
- Could be a DREAMer or a DACA recipient.
- Must be younger than twenty-one (21) years.
- Must have a GPA of at least 2.8.
- Must be willing to submit the names of other scholarship programs they have previously applied for.
- Must be willing to enrol in an approved academic institution.
- One of your parents must have a Hispanic heritage.
