How To Create Your Jamb Profile

Generate your National Identification Number (NIN).
Send your NIN through text to 55019 or 66019 from your original phone number.
You should type NIN in block letters, leave a space, and then add your NIN number. The NIN number should be 11 in number. If written correctly, the text message should be written as: ‘NIN 27745590221’
After you have sent the message, you will receive a profile code on that same number. The number should be 10 digits. For returning students, your profile code will be the same as the previous year and you will receive it on the same number you used to apply.
Once you have successfully created your profile, you can then use it for your Jamb registration, examination, and even admission.

How To Register For JAMB 2024

Go to a JAMB-approved financial institution and present the 10-digit code you received from JAMB. The institution will process your payment. After which, you will receive an e-Pin through a text message.
You are to present the e-Pin during the registration at an accredited JAMB CBT center.
You also need to present your personal information. This includes your name, email address, house address, gender, phone number, L.G.A., etc.
Your ten fingers’ biometrics will be captured and uploaded to the Jamb portal.
Also, you have to provide your academic information such as your WAEC or NECO results, depending on the one you want to use. If you are still awaiting your results, indicate it there. Nevertheless, once the results come out make sure to immediately upload it.
Once your registration is successful, a hard copy of your e-slip will be given to you. That is evidence that your registration is complete.

You must note that all transactions at the CBT center are cashless. The Board collects the payment and then remits it to the respective centers every week. You can pay through the JAMB online portal by generating Remita/Interswitch or you can pay at a Bank or through Mobile Money Operators.
