Eligibility Criteria for the University of Chicago Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria depend on the scholarship that one is applying for.

For Undergraduate Merit Scholarships, the beneficiary will be selected during the admissions process. They must fulfil the following requirements:

They should not have financial need.
Must be first-year applicants.
Must not be a transfer student.
No need for special application as first-years are automatically considered for this scholarship.

Once you are notified of a scholarship from another institution other than UC, you must immediately notify the Office of College Aid.
