The Federal Scholarship Board has just made it known to the public and all candidates who applied for the FSBN 2024/2025 scholarship scheme to visit the official portal and check their examination date.

To check your CBT center on www.fsbn.com.ng/applicants/cbt, the first thing you need to do is to enter the Last 6 Digits of your Applicant Number to check the approved scheduled centers.

All applicants who will be coming for the CBT or online examination must maintain a high level of total discipline and orderliness during their stay at each of the FSBN CBT centers.

The Federal Scholarship Board examination date must be strictly adhered to. There will be verification of all documents that will be submitted by prospective candidates before the commencement of the CBT online examination.

FSBN Scholarship 2024 Exam

The Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) seeks to conduct its examination following the rules being established. Candidates who have been shortlisted but were unable to attend the computer-based test (CBT) center will be automatically disqualified from the process.

To get a higher chance of being considered for a scholarship, applicants must do well to meet the minimum cut-off mark set by the examination. It is important to note that during the FSBN Scholarship examination, all applicant at their designated examination centers will work on an online objective test in the following courses: Analogy, Information Technology, Verbal Reasoning, Arithmetic, Current Affairs, Quantitative Reasoning, and English Language.

Just like writing JAMB, In the FSBN Examination, candidates who do not complete the FSBN Scholarship examination within the specified time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes will be signed off from the Federal Scholarship Board examination computer, and with this, the candidate will be disqualified for the scholarship.

Requirements for the Federal Scholarship Board Award

Here are the requirements needed to get the Federal Scholarship Award. They include;

  • All interested applicants applying for postgraduate studies must possess a minimum of a first degree or a Second Class Honours Upper Division and must be registered as full-time students at any Federal or State university.
  • All interested candidates including those pursuing undergraduate (UG), National Certificate of Education (NCE) programs, or Higher National Diploma (HND), must be registered as full-time students in their second year or above at any Federal or State Universities, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, or Colleges of Education.
  • All interested applicants who wish to apply for the undergraduate scholarship, including those with physical challenges, must have a Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) of at least 4.0 on a five-point scale or its equivalent, or 5.0 on a seven-point scale.
  • All NCE and HND applicants are expected to have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0.
