The NSCDC first and second batch lists can now be accessed through the official Civil Defense shortlist portals at www.cdfipb.careers or www.nscdc.gov.ng.

A PDF list of successful candidates for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in 2024 and 2025 is now published.

Successful candidates who will go for the screening exercise are advised to download the PDF document, trace to find their names in the list, and then read through this article for further guidelines on getting set for the final screening exercise.

Out of the 1.4 million applicants who initially applied for the paramilitary job, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps has shortlisted 6,500 successful candidates.

Candidates whose names appear on the shortlist are advised to prepare for the final screening exercise, which will center on credentials and a physical well-being test. The date for the test and other requirements will be communicated via SMS.

How to Check the List of NSCDC 2024 Shortlisted Candidates

NSCDC Shortlisted applicants are now free to check their names to know if they have been shortlisted; follow the procedures below.

Visit the official NSCDC recruitment portal at www.cdfipb.careers.
Enter your phone number, email address, and password, as well as your application ID and password, and then click “login.”
When the CDFIPB dashboard is launched, browse to the shortlisted status.
Open the link; if you have been shortlisted by the NSCDC, a message will pop up.

Special note: The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have strongly declared on their website that only candidates who have the qualifications needed will be shortlisted. We have provided you with the procedures for reviewing the list of shortlisted applicants.

Applicants who applied for the job should use a mobile phone or a computer system to access their recruitment dashboard and check or confirm their shortlisting status. This can be done by following the listed procedures.

Requirements for the NSCDC Final Screening Exercise

Do well to take note of the NSCDC Final Screening date and the required documents. Failure to appear promptly at the screening center with the required documents means you have rejected the job offer.

In addition to checking the list via the official registration portal, the management of the Civil Defense will inform or contact all shortlisted candidates via their registered email addresses regarding the screening exercise. This will take place at designated locations nationwide. So an on-time check on your registered email address for updates regarding the selection exercise is advised.

Furthermore, candidates who are not physically fit for the job may be disqualified during the final fitness assessment test. Over the years, the NSCDC has only recruited members of the general public who are in good health and physical condition.

During the fitness test, several tests or assessments may be conducted to ascertain the applicant’s well-being. To successfully screen candidates, they must be free from any form of conformity-based physical challenge.

All successful and shortlisted candidates are required to bring the following documents to the screening center in order to verify their registration for recruitment. After this exercise, applicants will be further contacted with details, including the date for the commencement of training.

The following are more requirements that may be needed during the screening exercise:

Originals and photocopies of your credentials
Two most recent passport photographs
A print-out of the submission is on the confirmation page.
A valid means of identification, like., a voter’s card, valid driver’s license, national identification card, national identification number (NIN), or international passport
