A limited liability company, regulated by the Companies and Allied Matters Act, has a minimum asset base of N50 million and the potential to increase its net assets to N150 million within three years.

  • You must have a well-planned business strategy that is essential for success.
  • If feasible, it is recommended to have an outsourcing program.
  • Carefully follow all instructions and guidelines from the leading bank.

General Requirement for CBN Agric Loan Application

  • Prospective candidates for this loan must have a Bank Verification Number (BVN).
  • The applicant must have a certificate of training from a recognized Entrepreneurship Development Institution (EDI) or evidence of membership in the organized private sector.
  • Applicants must present a letter of introduction from the clergy, village head, district head, traditional ruler, senior civil servant, etc. for individuals or microenterprises only.
  • Interested candidates should be able to provide proof of business registration, incorporation certificate, and annual return filing in accordance with the Companies and Allied Matters Act (1990).
  • Intended candidates should provide their Tax Identification Number (TIN) and current Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) where applicable.
  • To access this fund, applicants must undergo training from an Enterprise Development Institute, fill out a form, and submit it to CBN.
  • The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will request banks to verify your account details before conducting its own assessment.
