Requirements for Getting Admission into Nigerian Navy University

  1. The applicant should be born in Nigeria.
  2. The applicant should score a minimum of 150 and above in his/her JAMB. This score does not, however, apply to all the courses. Professional courses like Medicine and Surgery, Law, Mass Communication, Pharmacy, and Nursing need 250, 220, 180, 180, and 180 scores respectively.
  3. Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in either WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Direct Entry students should have at least a lower credit to qualify.
  4. The marital status of applicants should be single, and they should not have children.
  5. Applicants must have a clean criminal record.
  6. Applicants who have body tattoos cannot apply.
  7. Applicants who have mental, medical, or physical challenges cannot apply.
  8. The least age for applying is eighteen (18) years and the maximum age is twenty-two (22) years.
  9. Applicants must be ready to upload the following documents – parent/guardian consent form, photocopies of credentials and birth certificate, and certification of state of origin.
  10. Applicants should bring the scratch cards of their NABTEB, NECO, GCE, and WAEC results to the recruitment center.
  11. Applicants are to bring four (4) recent passport photographs, signed and stamped at the back by an officer of the rank of Commander, or Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
