What are the Admission Requirements?

Depending on whether you are applying to study for a Master’s Program or PGD Program, the requirement differs.

For Master’s Program:

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree which must be a minimum of Second Class Honors (Lower Division)
Candidates who have an HND certificate should possess a minimum of Lower Credit to apply.
Any candidate who has a Third Class Degree or Higher National Diploma should also possess a Postgraduate Diploma at credit level in a similar discipline from an accredited University.

For PGD Program:

Applicants must possess a minimum of Third Class Bachelor’s degree from an approved University or the Nigerian Defense Academy.
If the applicant has a Higher National Diploma (HND), it should be a minimum of Lower Credit.

How Long Will the Program Last?

The duration of the program differs based on the type the applicant wants to pursue.

For the Master’s Program

It usually lasts for eighteen (18) months. The coursework lasts for two (2) semesters while the project lasts for one (1) semester.
There is a twenty-four (24) month program. It includes three (3) semesters of coursework and one (1) semester for a project.

For Postgraduate students

Postgraduate programs last for twelve (12) months i.e. two (2) semesters with the exception of engineering courses which normally run for twenty-four (24) months i.e. four (4) semesters.
