University of East Anglia 2024 University of Lagos Law School Scholarship.

Due to the growing alliance between the University of East Anglia (UEA) Law School and the University of Lagos School of Law, UEA Law School will deem it fit to offer to two (2) students 50% tuition fee scholarships to student(s) of UNILAG who are presently studying or have just graduated from UNILAG Law School at the discretion of UEA Law School.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) is a public research university established in 1963. It is located in Norwich, England and lays on 320 acres i.e. 130 hectares of land in the centre of the city. This academic institution has four faculties and twenty-six (26) departments of study.

This scholarship rewards the beneficiary with 9250 pounds (naira).

Requirements –

Must be an international student i.e. a Nigerian.
Must have graduated from the University of Lagos.
English proficiency.

University of California Berkeley 2024 African Legal Impact Scholarship.

This scholarship seeks to promote the enrollment of students from Africa hoping to gain advanced legal education at the University of California. Now, this scholarship is usually available to only two exceptional applicants every year. The reason for the limited selection of beneficiaries is due to the extremely limited funds.

The deadline for this scholarship is 18th December.

For those who are privileged to benefit from this scholarship, they get to have a full tuition waiver. They are still, however, expected to pay seat deposit, living and travel expenses worth over $1,000.

Requirements –

Must be a citizen of a country in Africa.
Academic merit.
A statement of intention.
Proof of admission for the LL.M program.

Please note that beneficiaries are expected to maintain a Pass grade in the first semester to still be eligible for the scholarship in the second semester.

Westminster University GREAT Scholarships in Justice & Law.

The school in collaboration with the British Council and the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign aid Nigerian students financially to further their academic development and make new connections or friends with students globally. This experience is usually considered professionally and personally life-changing. This scholarship is for postgraduate and master’s Nigerian students to study in the United Kingdom. It rewards the recipients with 10,000 pounds. The deadline for this scholarship is 13th June.

Minimum of 2:1 Honors degree (UK equivalent).
Should be from and be resident in Nigeria.
Must not already have a Master’s degree.

University of London LLM Scholarships For African Students

This scholarship is for those who wish to pursue the Master of Laws (LLM), Postgraduate Diploma, and Postgraduate Certificate through distance learning at the academic institution. The advantage of this scholarship is that applicants can start at any level and do not necessarily need to complete the full programme.

The scholarship is available to postgraduate and master’s students from four (4) African countries. It is a full scholarship with a deadline on 23rd August 2024.

Requirements –

You can apply for the scholarship even when you have not been admitted to study the program.
Nevertheless, those who are selected for the scholarship will have to now apply for the program separately.
Must be from any of these African countries – Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, and Malawi.
Must be a full-time or part-time worker.
Willing to commit ten (10) hours of weekly study.
