All aspiring candidates must be physically and mentally stable
Candidates with good teamwork and superior analytical skills are of advantage
Must be smart, flexible; and possess the ability to meet deadlines and multiple tasking
A birth certificate is important
Candidates who are interested must possess good interpersonal and communication abilities.
All candidates must be Nigerian and must possess a valid means of identification such as a driver’s license, National Identification Card, International passport, and Voters card.
Local government certificate must be presented
Dully signed certificate of origin
For B.Sc. and HND holders, a letter or certificate of completion of NYSC is needed
Must be eager to work in new conditions/environments

Note:

Only applicants with the necessary specialized skills and disciplines will be considered e.g Architecture, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, Engineering, Mass Communications, Sociology, Computer Forensics, Economics, Computer Science, Quantity Surveying, Accountancy, Procurement Specialists, Law, and Forensic Experts.

Shortlisted applicants will be subjected to an online/written assessment test as well as a computer-based aptitude test, which will qualify them for an oral interview and subsequent stages of evaluation.

Also, candidates will be subjected to a polygraph test in addition to paramilitary training. Therefore, it is preferable to have a clean medical record.
