About Stephenson Harwood Scholarship

Stephenson Harwood has a scholarship program designed to offer financial assistance to students looking to study law at a university in the UK. The scholarships are available to at least five (5) qualified students.

Those five students are awarded 15,000 pounds (14,924,247 Naira) to contribute to their living expenses and to cover the cost of university fees. Asides from financial aid, recipients will also receive mentorship from partners in the firm and will be invited to employment workshops and insight days. They will also be guaranteed a place at an assessment centre for a training contract and will be provided with work experience.

Eligibility Criteria for the Stephenson Harwood Scholarship

The following are the eligibility criteria for the Stephenson Harwood Scholarship:

Must successfully apply for a law degree.
The new session must be deemed to start on September/October 2023.
Must show that you possess the academic potential to successfully finish at the university.
Must have attended (from age 11) or still attending, a state-funded, non-fee-paying college or school.

You must fall under any of the under-listed categories:

Must have been eligible or have received or presently be receiving 16 to 19 bursary, education maintenance allowance, and/or free school meals.
Must have been raised where no guardian or parent attended University.
Must have been or is in local authority care for up to three (3) months or longer.
Must have been or is a part-time or full-time carer.
Must have come into the UK as an asylum seeker or a refugee.
Must be presently enrolled and attending a state school or college with a Higher point score or below average A-Level.

If your application is successful, you will be asked to complete an online critical reasoning test and you will be invited for an interview.
