What is CBN TIES Loan?

TIES is an acronym which means Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme. In case you have heard of the CBN TIES Loan, it is a grant or loan opportunity created by the Central Bank of Nigeria to help young graduates and undergraduates finance their business plans.

Any Nigerian student who has good entrepreneurial skills or business ideas can get access to the CBN TIES loan funding.

The CBN believes this will lower the level of unemployment and create jobs for students graduating from various tertiary schools each year.

The Central bank of Nigeria ₦500M Grant is for all undergraduates and graduates of universities, polytechnics, Colleges or all higher institution of higher learning to easily access funds for business start ups.

Requirements For CBN TIES Loan Application

The following requirements must be met by all applicants to be eligible for the CBN N500 million grant.

Must be a graduate or undergraduate student from a recognised Nigerian higher institution.
Applicants as graduates must have a Degree Certificate (BSc, HND, or equivalent)
Applicants must complete the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess a Discharge or Exemption letter.
Proof of entrepreneurship training from a university or polytechnic.
Post-NYSC service must not exceed seven years.

Hit the “Apply Now” button.
Carefully the instructions and requirements.
Click “Proceed.” to continue
Fill in the following:
- Loan Type
- NYSC Certificate Number
- Year Of NYSC Certificate
- Year of Graduation

Provide your personal details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email
- Password
- Confirm Password

And finally, click SUMMIT to send your application.
