Africa Action offers international graduates and undergraduate students in Washington and DC. academic semester and summer internship program. This program will develop candidates understanding comprehensively of how African advocacy organization policy analysis is utilized and organized to affect national policy.

All participants at Africa Action Internship will be opportune to support the current organization’s work which is focused on three primary campaigns to cancel Africa’s debt, end the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa, and stop the genocide in Darfur, Sudan

Also. depending on the intern’s talent, they will work primarily either in the Public Education and Mobilization Department (DPEM) or in the Policy Analysis and Communications Department (DPAC).

Eligibility Requirements for Africa Action Internship Opportunities

Should possess a bachelor’s degree in any related field.
Must be an experienced applicant of at least 2 years
Must have effective team spirit and be able to adapt to a diverse environment.
Strong analytical skills, results orientation, and problem-solving capability.
Must have a high business and innovative mindset.
Must have English Language proficiency
Possess a strong interest in Africa, human rights, and economic and social justice
Must have technological skills and some basic computer experience
