It pleased us to announce to the general public that the NECO GCE Registration Form 2024 is Out. The NECO GCE Registration for 2024 is strictly for Senior School Certificate Examination external students only and is done on the official NECO GCE registration portal.

Also, to be sure that you are taking the NECO exams, all aspiring candidates must pay the total stipulated amount to NECO before they are eligible for registration.

Please note, that the NECO GCE certificate examination is for individuals who are no longer in secondary school but want to register for O’level examinations.

NECO GCE Registration Portal

The management of the National Examination Council (NECO) has officially kick-started the sale of the NECO GEC Nov/Dec 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External registration form.

The NECO GCE registration portal has been enabled and is specifically for private students who are not currently enrolled in secondary school.

All prospective candidates are hereby advised to process their payment to be able to register for the upcoming NECO GCE exam. After registration, all candidates will be given their centres according to their designated location in their respective state of registration.

NECO GCE General Information

The Registration fee is nonrefundable.
Use a recommended cyber cafe for registration to avoid mistakes. The Council will not be responsible for any errors committed during registration. (Visit http://www.mynecoexams.com/novdec/ListOfCafes.aspx to see the list of recommended places to register for your NECO GCE Exam or go to any close NECO State offices nationwide.)
Ensure that the instructions on the online scratch card are followed before proceeding with registration.
Ensure to study the Regulations and Syllabuses before registration.
Any image/photograph uploaded during the registration will be embossed on the certificates please note.
Smartphones, handbags and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the NECO examination hall.
Please be mindful that NECO does not accept multiple registrations. Candidates of such behaviour have had their entire registration cancelled
If you have misplaced or damaged your scratch card before registration will have to purchase another card.
Once the examination commences, no candidates will be allowed in or out of the exam hall except the exam closes.

NECO GCE Registration Form Fee

The NECO GCE registration form fee is Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Naira only excluding Additional N50 charges for stamp duty, service, and Remita.

Please note that all payment is paid directly to the NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) SSCE (E) through the NECO official website. Also, keep in mind that the NECO registration is different from any other exam.

The official stipulated deadline for NECO GCE registration is the 14th of November 2023. However, interested candidates can still register for the exam after the deadline but will pay an additional N1000 late payment to commence.

NECO GCE Registration 2024 Commencement date

The management of NECO had announced the NECO GCE registration to commence on 9th September 2024 and end on 21st November 2024 at midnight.

NECO GCE Registration Form – How to Apply for NECO GCE Nov/Dec 2024

All prospective candidates should commence their online registration at the official NECO registration website via www.mynecoexams.com

All candidates should note that their Biometric fingerprints are captured during the registration.
That the fingerprints are correctly captured during registration
During the examination verification, candidates with mismatched fingerprints will not be allowed to partake in the exam.

Ensure you submit your recent Passport Photographs during the online registration. The passport photograph is not to be older than six months and must be of a white background.

NECO Registration Pin

The NECO GEC Registration Pin is obtained online through the NECO website at www.neco.gov.ng. All applicants should note this!

NECO GCE Attestation Photocards and Timetable

After successful registration, all candidates must acquire the following documents

A timetable for the examination.
A clear copy of the NECO Photocard is required for admission into the Examination Hall.

The Referee’s Attestation section of the Photocard must be signed and stamped by an authorised individual as follows

School Principal of a recognised Senior Secondary School
Ordained Clergyman or Chief Imam
Commissioned Officer of the Nigerian Armed Forces or Police, not below the rank of Captain
Senior Civil Servant, not below GL. 14
Legal Practitioner with a minimum of ten years of experience

Candidates should note that they are no longer mandated to submit their attestation photo cards at NECO state offices for stamping.
