About FRSC

Decree No. 45 of 1988 of the FRSC (Establishment) Act 2007 brought about the existence of the Federal Road Safety Commission. The Federal Government created this body to completely remove road traffic accidents and make the motoring environment safe in Nigeria.

How Much Does the Federal Road Safety Commission Pay Their Employees?

An FRSC Officer whose only qualification is SSCE will earn an average salary of N40,000 while an FRSC officer who has a B.Sc., HND or any higher qualification will earn an average salary of N100,000. High-ranking officers earn N250,000 and above.

Eligibility Criteria for FRSC Recruitment

The applicant must either be born in Nigeria or have parents who are from Nigeria.
The required minimum height for males is 1.7 meters while that of the females is 1.64 meters.
Male applicants must have a fully expanded chest measurement of 0.87 meters.
You must show proof of your mental and physical fitness because of the paramilitary activities you would have to carry out.
You must be free from any deformity and his/her skin must not have any tattoos or scars.
Candidates must have five (5) credits in five subjects in SSCE (NABTEB, NECO, GCE, or WAEC) and that includes General Mathematics and English Language.
