Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for employment:
- Applicants must have graduated from a recognized and accredited higher institution of learning.
- A Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines, a minimum of Second Class Lower Division is accepted.
- Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree need to have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of working experience in a tertiary institution.
- Applicants with a Master’s or PhD need to have at least ten (10) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution.
- Applicants with Doctorate Degrees need to have at least six (6) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution.
- Professors and associate professors need to have at least 15 and 10 years of teaching and research experience respectively. They must also have publications in both national and international newspapers.
- Knowledgeable in the use of computers.
- Must demonstrate academic leadership.
- Competent in oral and written English Language.
- Administrative, Organizational and Interpersonal Skills.
