How to see your NYSC Food Timetable

Seeing your stream food is very easy. After camp registration, you will be given some books; in one, you will get to see your food timetable. It is usually on the second page of the book.

If you do not like the food given to you, you can opt for another option which is buying the food from the camp market(Mammy Market).
There have been several controversies and complaints stating that NYSC camp food is of low quality and the federal government budgets about N3 billion for feeding of corps members in streams 1 & 2 of every batch and camp official.

So if you do not like their food and you have plenty of cash and are very ready to eat all you want, you can enjoy buying from the mammy market as we also have different varieties of food though they are not free but expensive to buy.

Note that if you are from a south-south or north-north, you have to know that they are no special person cooking a traditional meal for those in the south-south or the north-north.

so if you are planning on going for service, with the ideology that you may most likely be served your traditional dish or a particular dish in your culture, you should try and do away from such an idea.

Even if you intend to buy it from Mammy market, they are cases where they may likely not have it and even when they have it, it will be at a high price.
