We are pleased to announce to you that the Board has fixed the final date for its JAMB UTME to hold in 2024. The JAMB’s latest news for you today is that the scheduled date for UTME 2024 has been postponed.

Recall it was announced that JAMB UTME for the 2024 examination will begin on Saturday, 29th April 2024. However, the date has been rescheduled to hold from Tuesday, 25th April, to Tuesday, 2nd May 2024.

The UTME date was changed to make room for certain other significant and important national responsibilities. The Board expects that by doing this, no citizen will be prevented from carrying out their civic duties.

It should be noted that the Board is not free to move its examination up because other public exams are scheduled to start their exercises in early May 2024. The requirement to allow those universities with reliable academic calendars to resume as planned is yet another factor.
