The Bayelsa State Government has officially made it known that the Bayelsa State Teacher Shortlisted candidates list is out online for all those who had applied and sat for the recruitment examination.

As an interested applicant who had applied for the recruitment and the application was submitted successfully during an online application that was just concluded by the Bayelsa State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), you need to visit the Portal via www.bayelsastate.gov.ng portal and check your name on the shortlisted candidates.

It is important to note that the newly shortlisted candidates will be posted across rural communities and the state’s capital due to the shortage of primary, junior, and secondary teachers in Bayelsa State.

It is also vital to take note that according to the Bayelsa State government, the computer-based test (CBT) which will be conducted by the TESCOM will strictly be based on merit, transparency, and the percentage scored during the CBT Exam.

The governor also made it known that the Bayelsa State Teacher 2024 shortlisted candidates will replace all teachers who had left the civil service due to death, illness, or retirement.

The Government also charged all shortlisted candidates to live up to expectations if they are considered at the end of the Bayelsa State screening, CBT Tests and interviews.

You must possess the following ID card; National ID card, international passport or voter’s card, etc., certificate of birth or age declaration, certificate of state of origin, two (2) copies of passport-size photographs.
You must possess a Government hospital’s certified medical report stating if you are medically fit to work.
You must possess an original copy of your acknowledgment slips printed out during the online application
You must possess the following: academic certificates (NCE, B.Sc., HND certificate, WASSCE, NECO, GCE certificate, TRCN certificate, and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate)
