Illegal Universities in Liberia:  The Government of Liberia has ordered the shutting down of six (6) universities in the country due to their illegal way of operation. We have listed them in this article in case you are an aspiring student to not make the mistake of choosing these institutions.

According to Mr. David S. Dahn, the Acting Director General of the NCHE, the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE), ordered the shutting down of six private universities operating illegally in the country. 

The NCHE further revealed the reason for the shutting down of these institutions is that they are either without operational permits or Provisional Accreditation from the Commission and also offering fake degree programs.

How Much Does it Cost to Go to the University of Liberia?

Students at the University in Liberia don’t pay school fees, they only pay registration fees which is a bit more than L$2,000 a semester. The government of Liberia has a tuition-free policy for all public universities and college students. In that case, public school students don’t have to pay a dime for tuition fees.
