How to Become an Opay Agent

Before you qualify of becoming an Opay agent, you must be familiar with the Opay App user interface and the transaction patterns of the App.

Alternatively, you must be able to perform multiple transactions using the OPay App and Complete a high volume of transactions within four weeks of using the OPay App.

To get started;

Download the Opay app from the official Opay web page or you go to the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
Install the app on your phone and complete the process using your mobile phone number.
After installing the app, message the Opay support team from the app telling them your interest in becoming an agent.
They will send you the requirements such as details passport photo, utility Bill, Means of identification, and CAC registration (optional).
Supply the needed documents respectively and complete the form with your required details.
Crosscheck the form and submit it as requested.
Once it is done, send it across to them as your registration will be processed.
You will be informed on what to do next if there are any other instructions.

How to Upgrade from an Opay User to an Agent via the app

Go to the Opay app.
Click on “Account” and tap on “Current KYC level” just below where your name appears on the app.
Click on the “Upgrade to agent” button.
You will become an OPay agent once successfully upgrade to the KYC2 level.

How to Request a POS Machine

Before you are qualified to apply for a POS machine, you need to upgrade from the KYC2 level to level 3. The steps to successfully apply for a POS machine are given below:

Click on “Upgrade to Level 3”.
