Make sure you carefully write an outline of the content of your application letter. This is the structure of what your application letter will look like or contain. The outline will help you by guiding you to follow the outlined content while writing your application letter.

  1. Use a Proper Salutation

Your application letter must be addressed with the proper salutation. Salutation is also one important part of an application letter that must not be avoided. You can address the recruiter thus;  “Dear General Manager”, Dear, Mr. Ernest, Dear Recruiter, Dear Recruitment Team,  etc,

Note: ensure to add a comma at the end of your salutation.
